There were already plans to breed with the neighbour’s dog, and her 11-year-old child (at the time), Charlotte, thought the two love-dogs should not be doing it doggy-style before joined in holy matrimony.
The service in 2000 saw Sigourney’s dog Petals dressed in a pearl-studded faux Vera Wang evening gown, while the groom wore a bow tie.

R.I.P Mollie Sugden
Mollie Sugden died last night at the age of 86, with her twin sons by her bedside.
Master of the double entendre, Mollie is best remembered for Mrs Slocombe’s pussy jokes, like “They’re for my pussy! Do you know it wins a prize everytime I show it?” or “Captain Peacock, have you seen my pussy?”
But we all know the wet jokes were the best, so rest in peace Mollie, this is for you:

Beanie Bo Thursday
Bo, the Portugese Water dog that belongs to the Obamas has been turned into a collectable beany baby. He comes with a red, blue and white ribbon stating “I will NEVER run away”.
The stuffed pooch is also (presumably) hypoallergenic, just like the First Dog. It could cause a few problems if kids are allergic to the replica…

Collie Wednesday
David Duchovny likes to use his dogs on set. The X Files episode “Hollywood AD” in season 7, directed by Mulder himself, features a cameo from his dog, called Blue.
This isn’t the only Duchovny dog seen on TV - in the first X FIles series Blue’s father appears in the episode “Ice”.
Blue is a Border and Jersey Collie mix and apparently camera shy - in the 2004 film “Best Friend Forgotten” Duchovny used a stand-in dog. He was a German Shepherd mix called Lenny.
