1995: Supergrass – Alright

With Sadie Frost appearing in the video for “Common People” and Danny Goffey’s band Supergrass releasing their defining hit “Alright” in 1995, most of the cast of the infamous “Baby munching an E” sketch of 2002 were involved in the Britpop scene in some way or other.
Pearl Lowe was making waves with her band Powder around that time (and she and Danny first got together in ’95). If only Jude Law had done a few months as The Bluetones’ roadie, we’d have had the full set…
