I have never actually read anything by Jane Austen, nor Charles Dickens. EM Forster remains unread, likewise JG Ballard, Elmore Leonard, Agatha Christie, Virginia Wolf, Ian Fleming, Iris Murdoch. I hate Victorian art. I hate the YBAs (I make half a million from defaced Ladybird books because I'm Terry Wankstain and you're not.) I find anything to do with the classics highly tedious (frogs or no frogs, stick your Aristophanes up yer arse).There is no such thing as "good" house music. I fell asleep through Mark Rylance's supposedly definitive Hamlet. I see potential for planning permission where others see lovingly tended garden.
